Social Media Coordinator - Culver City

 

 

The team Social Media coordinator works alongside the CEO and is responsible for facilitating the efficient and accurate delivery of high-quality media.

This person will work across all types of projects including Dropbox, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Suite and Slack.

The right candidate is detail oriented, organized, self-starting, thrives under pressure, and is a motivating and positive presence on the team.

 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Strong understanding of social marketing

  • Build social strategies that increase engagement across all media channels

  • Write briefs and project manage timelines for organic social media marketing needs

  • Create a content calendar that aligns with clients vision /mission and goals

  • Execute postings on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn

  • Manage flow of assets between the creative team and social team

  • Conceptualize and help produce original video content for social channels

  • Help track growth of social media followers and engagement by channel

  • Promote events and campaigns initiative on social media

  • Support other team events, with planning and coordination

  • Work with vendors and agencies, to get answers and negotiate for exceptions where needed

  • Proactively identify potential challenges, problem solve and communicate issues to relevant team

  • Coordinate delivery of final media files

  • Foster a productive atmosphere among team members that is conducive to creating superior creative and technical executions

 

Requirements:

 

  • 2 plus years experience working in a social media/advertising or marketing firm.

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Suite of products. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides)

  • Creative and strategic thinker

  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills

  • Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields a plus

 

  • Ability to prioritize and multitask

  • Strong organization skills

  • Deadline and detail oriented

  • Ability to self-start and work well independently as well as collaborate favorably in a team environment

  • Strong relationship building skills
