Accounting Assistant - Culver City
The accounting assistant works alongside the controller and bookkeepers and is responsible for facilitating the efficient and accurate delivery of high-quality data entry.
This person will work across all types of applications including Dropbox, Quickbooks Online, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Slack.
The right candidate is detail oriented, organized, self-starting, thrives under pressure, and is a motivating and positive presence on the team.
Role and Responsibilities:

Process Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
-
Must be able to reconcile credit card and bank accounts

Controlling correspondence and email filtering
-
Keeping all files organized and current
-
Scanning of invoices and /or receipts
-
Work with vendors and agencies, to get answers and negotiate for exceptions where needed

Proactively identify potential challenges, problem solve and communicate issues to relevant team

Coordinate delivery of final accounting files
-
Foster a productive atmosphere among team members that is conducive to creating superior creative and technical executions
Requirements:

2 plus years experience working in an accounting or finance agency.

High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Suite of products. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides)
